description: Use when shaping a rough idea, note, or link into distinct angles for a new Bike Riding Robot blog post, before any outline or draft exists.

Turns raw material into a short menu of shaped angles. Produces no prose, no outline — that's [post-outline](../post-outline/SKILL.md)'s job.

## Steps

1. Get the raw material: the user's note, a link, a half-formed complaint, a conversation. If none was given, ask for it rather than inventing a topic.
2. Read `PRODUCT.md` and the Direction Contract in `DESIGN.md` for the site's actual positioning and voice, then skim the titles + deks of everything in `app/posts/*.md`. This is the calibration set — what's already been said, and what "on-brand" sounds like here.
3. Produce 2–4 angle options. Each one is a single sentence stating the actual thesis (the claim, not the topic — "X" is a topic, "X because Y, and that's underappreciated" is a thesis), plus one line on why it earns 1500+ words instead of being said in a tweet.
4. If an angle overlaps an existing post, say so by name and explain what's actually different this time — don't quietly let it slide.
5. Stop. Present the angles and wait for the user to pick one before touching an outline or draft.
